What Kind of Editor Doesn't Have a Damn Undo Option?

I just lost an entire post for the second time because there's no undo option. I'll have to start writing these posts in another editor and pasting them in. *grumble* There's nothing I hate more than writing the same thing twice.

What about an edit option? I would think they have the option to edit posts that you have made already.

Ummm, it does have an edit option. I don't see how that's related...

Well you can go ahead and save the post you've been working on and then edit it afterwards.

If it's like the gamefaqs posts, where you get to preview your post, but not change it before you save it.. just save it, then edit it how you want.

You're clearly missing the point entirely. The post gets erased before I have a chance to save it. I'll be trying to highlight text so I can back it up manually before saving it, in case there are any connection problems, but then I'll slip (usually triggering some custom action or keystroke that the damn thing has), and in any editor but this one that wouldn't be a problem, because I'd just use undo, but in this editor, the post is relegated to digital oblivion.

And the craziest thing is that, unlike the post editor, I now notice that this comment editor DOES have an undo option, presumably because it's just the standard multi-line textbox object instead of the custom object that they supply as a post editor.

well, even thought you konw that it has an edit option, the key combination for Undo is ctrl-z in just about every program.

Of this I am aware. As I said, there is no undo option.
